Kaziranga is a famous wildlife tourist attracted spot for one horn rhinoceros. The jeep safari at Kaziranga gives enormous pleasure to all tourists. Apart from Kaziranga, the beauty of Shillong, Cherrapunjee and Dawki also mesmerizes the tourists. Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, double-decker living root bridge, Mawlynnong are the peak of attractions of this entire tour. Besides these wildlife and scenic beauties, Kamkhya is one of the holiest place of all pilgrims. According to the Kalika Purana, Kamakhya Temple denotes the spot where Sati used to retire in secret to satisfy her amour with Shiva, and it was also the place where her yoni (genitals, womb) fell after Shiva tandav (dance of destruction) with the corpse of Sati.
